My research interests include the study of abundances, depletion patterns, and properties of clouds in the interstellar medium of galaxies at all redshifts. I am also interested in the comparison of chemical evolution models to the observed abundances in the interstellar medium of the Galaxy and Magellanic Clouds, QSO absorption line systems, and stars in the Galaxy and Magellanic Clouds. For more information check out my Science page.
I started working as a post-doctoral research associate with Professor David Meyer at Northwestern in September, 1997. Before this I worked at Goddard Space Flight Center for more than 2 years, first as a National Research Council Resident Research Associate, and then as an employee of Hughes STX Corporation (which is now Raytheon STX). My days as a graduate student were spent in The University of Chicago's Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, where I worked closely with Professors Lewis Hobbs, James Truran, and Donald York (who was my thesis advisor) among others; I also worked part-time as a system administrator for the departmental computing facilities.
Right now the following bits are all the other things that I have on the web, although I intend on adding to this:
