I am a postdoctoral researcher at
Northwestern University. My Ph.D. work was done at Harvard
University under Prof. Josh Grindlay, finishing in 2004. My research is
focused on X-ray binaries, compact objects (such as white dwarfs,
neutron stars, and black holes) accreting matter from a companion star.
I have focused in particular on X-ray binaries containing
neutron stars in globular clusters, using the Chandra X-ray Observatory to
collect and study X-rays from these objects. I am also interested
in planets, pulsars, and supernova remnants.
